The process to establish a positive safety and health program begins with fostering safety consciousness as an integral part of NMI's corporate culture. A top-down commitment to the safety and health for all employees, and a relentless pursuit of an incident-free workplace is reflected in NMI's incident rates. An in-house Mine Safety Training program and attention to safety detail enables NMI Industrial to carry exceptionally low EMR/Mod Rates.
These safety ratings are dramatically lower than the industry average. NMI is ranked #3 in safety throughout Northern California. As a result, NMI can secure low Workman's Compensation insurance rates and does pass this savings on to clients. These remarkable rates have been achieved through hard work and attention to all aspects of NMI's safety and health program.
