Fabrication Shop or On-location – NMI Industrial can fabricate in the shop, or on-location. With an 50,000 square foot fabrication shop, NMI Industrial can handle projects from small to huge – from bridges to entire industrial plant manufacture. Every modern tool required to machine carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel or special alloy material is utilized by one of Northern California's largest teams of millwright craftsmen. Cutting precision on the order of 1/10,000 inch, employing CNC Plasma and Calypso WaterJet cutting machines, to 400-ton press-brakes, 62" vertical lathes and X-ray welding – NMI Industrial has the hi-tech tools and top-notch expertise.

Fabrication Teams

NMI Industrial has the equipment and skilled craftsmen needed to manufacture specialized control and instrument panels, to fabricate specialty metal products and to prefabricate much of the piping installation and miscellaneous ironwork that may be required. A virtual army of certified and experienced welders, pipefitters, millwrights, electricians, HVAC technicians, sheet metal fabricators, machinists, and CNC operators are employed by NMI Industrial, the third largest employer of millwrights in Northern California.

Because required metal products and machinery can be fabricated in-house, under the direction of a project manager, seamless integration within the larger project is assured, producing smooth continuity and the efficient use of resources. Delays normally associated with cross-contractor coordination are eliminated, and any rework necessitated by building or scope changes can be dealt with immediately.
